27-31 May 2024 Tours (France)

Stochastic Geometry Days 2024

The Stochastic Geometry Days 2024 will take place in Tours from May 27 to May 31. This is the twelfth edition. These days previously constituted the annual meetings of the RT GeoSto. This latter merged with RT MIA to form RT MAIAGE.

The first part of the conference is dedicated to mini-courses given by Céline Duval (University of Lille) and Mathew Penrose (University of Bath). The following sessions are devoted to plenary and short talks focusing on a wide range of topics in random geometry and its applications to other disciplines. The conference concludes with a special session dedicated to Anne Estrade (University Paris-Descartes).

Short-courses (May 27th-29th):

  • Céline Duval (Université de Lille) Excursion sets: from geometry to estimation
  • Mathew Penrose (University of Bath) Coverage and connectivity of spatial point processes

Invited talks, May 29th-31st, with a special session in honor of Anne Estrade on the 31st

  • Christophe Biscio (Aalborg University)  Non-parametric intensity estimation of spatial point processes by random forests
  • Pierre Calka (Université de Rouen) Fractal Anne
  • Pierre Chainais (Centrale Lille Institut) Plug-and-Play Split Gibbs Sampler: embedding deep generative priors in Bayesian inference
  • Alice Contat (Université Paris 13) Critical core percolation on random graphs
